Upload Bank Statement
Accepts CSV, XLSX or any PDF statement. Capitec and FNB PDFs get
bank-specific parsing (Capitec's cipher-obfuscated font is decoded
automatically); other banks' PDFs fall back to generic table/text
extraction, which works well for statements with a clean layout. Transactions
are parsed and shown to you on a review screen first - nothing is added to
the ledger until you confirm. Password-protected PDFs: enter the password
below, or set BANK_PDF_PASSWORD in .env to reuse
the same one every time. Scanned/image-only PDFs (no text layer) aren't
supported yet.
